Amy is a founding partner of HSP Direct and widely regarded as one of the most talented copywriters in the field of direct mail fundraising. With more than two decades of experience in the direct mail industry, she has written and produced award-winning fundraising letters for a variety of political candidates, historical organizations, defense funds and nonprofit organizations.
Amy is a five-time winner of the MAXI (Marketing Award for eXcellence and Innovation) from the Direct Marketing Association of Washington. In addition, she has written a record number of “million-dollar letters” for such varied clientele as George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens, Young America’s Foundation, the Citizens United Foundation, and many others.
Amy earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the College of William and Mary. A native of Virginia, she resides with her husband, Dave, and their three children in Leesburg, VA.
