Matthew Schenk is a leading expert in the field of direct mail fundraising. As one of the founding partners of HSP Direct, Matthew has helped build HSP into the most respected direct mail agency in the conservative movement.
Matthew began his fundraising career as a program officer at respected non-profit Young America’s Foundation, where he was involved in donor development, contact, and communication.
Matthew then joined a prominent Washington, D.C., fundraising agency, where he quickly became a senior account executive and successfully led the firm’s campaign fundraising division. In August of 2001, Matthew left this position to become a founding partner of HSP Direct.
Matthew is a native of Hermiston, Oregon, and graduated from Pennsylvania’s Swarthmore College. He has been a proud resident of Virginia since 1995, where he currently lives with his wife and two children. He is an active member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Leesburg, Virginia. Matthew spends much of his free time coaching youth sports in Leesburg, where he is the head Freshman football coach at Tuscarora High School.
