HSP Direct is seeking an experienced direct-response marketing professional to join our award-winning Creative team as an Account Executive.  The Account Executive will play a central role in understanding our clients’ unique fundraising goals and in crafting direct mail appeals and building fundraising programs that help fulfill our clients’ missions.  In addition to competitive salary and excellent benefits, HSP Direct offers a powerful, collaborative, and fun culture where entrepreneurs thrive and career growth is nearly unlimited.

A successful Account Executive will master the following responsibility areas:

  • Design compelling direct mail packages that fit into the larger creative strategy and vision for the client’s fundraising program
  • Outline creative strategy for programs that meet or exceed client growth objectives and fundraising goals
  • Constantly explore and test new opportunities, techniques, and strategies to improve fundraising results and grow programs
  • Analyze and communicate results of direct mail packages to clients and account teams and make strategic recommendations to improve performance
  • Collaborate with and provide leadership to internal account team partners to deliver clients with world-class list strategy, production quality, financial management, data services, and agency relationships
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and a deep knowledge of their unique missions, programs, and fundraising goals

Required Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of direct response marketing, list selection, and data services
  • Strong knowledge of politics and conservative ideology and ability to express political views in writing
  • Experience managing direct mail programs
  • Strong research and analysis abilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail and hitting deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate challenges and deliver client-focused solutions based on client needs
  • Strong team-player and communicator
  • Professional curiosity and willingness to learn
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Experience working for non-profits or political campaigns is a plus
